| Ok, here's the deal. My buddy Jeremy from here at Eastern is in the army and his next deployment is to Monterey California. This is actually pretty sweet because he is going to be in a 3 bedroom house about 5 or 6 block away from the coast and doing intel for the CIA.
Here's the cool part: He gave me an open invitation to come visit him and stay at his house for free. He said I can bring as many friends as I would want because he'll have plenty of space. I figured it up, and if gas stays about the same, we can get there and back in my parent's van for about $100 a piece, split 6 ways. The drive goes through Colorado, Utah, Nevada, and Southern California. I think it would be pretty sweet. Any Takers? |

| Tonight was a good night. I feel a probably hopeless sense of optimism and butterflies in my stomach. Tonight was really great. |

| Tonight is at the top of a short list for best night of the year. Going out for coffee with Holly and just having a real conversation for the first time in a long time was great, and then going out and sledding with just the guys from the house and beer made for a real enjoyable time. Overall, you can't really have a better night. |

| People have been asking me why I chose a crazy old man to be my display picture for xanga. The answer is that it is Emmanuel Goldstein from the motion picture version of "1984." And if you don't know who Emmanuel Goldstein or what 1984 is, then shame on you. |

| My favorite thing about Xanga, is in the feedback log under "Footprints." Maybe because I am an observer, and have lots of fun just looking at and watching people when they think they aren't. The footprints tool is just cool because it lets me find out who is watching me and the things I say, then I visit their page and see what they are saying, and think about how they may interpret what I say based on things they say. Get it? It is all very gratifying. |
